All the MCU fans count down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds to MCU movies and series! Finally, the wait for the next project in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is nearly over. The six-episode Moon Knight series will premiere on Disney+ at the end of the month, and Marvel is marking the ten-day countdown.
However, Marvel Studios is gearing up for another jam-packed calendar year, with 2022 promising a wide range of material. While release dates have yet to be confirmed, the latter marks the start of Marvel’s streaming slate in 2022. According to reports, Moon Knight concluded filming in October and is expected to hit theaters in early 2022. Additionally, it was rumored that the Oscar Isaac-led series would return for reshoots earlier this week. Check out this video as well.

Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness – May 6, 2022
Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, with Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, and Chiwetel Ejiofor also reprising their roles from Doctor Strange.
Xochitl Gomez plays the role of America Chavez, a new fan favorite from the comics. The events of the WandaVision series will lead up to Multiverse of Madness, and the plot will tie in with Tom Holland’s upcoming third Spider-Man film. After the first film, Scott Derrickson was expected to return as director.
Thor: Love and Thunder – July 8, 2022
This Marvel movie marks the first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that the Asgardian hero has received a fourth solo film. Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi returns to write and direct the Marvel film (together with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson).
Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Love and Thunder. Jane will play Thor’s female equivalent, while Tessa Thompson’s new Asgardian king Valkyrie is on the prowl for her queen. The main source of strife will be Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), with a few other known names fluttering in and out of the story.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – November 11, 2022
The upcoming American superhero film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is based on the Marvel Comics character Black Panther. It is the sequel to Black Panther (2018) and the 30th film in MCU, Marvel Studios produced this movie, and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures will release it.
This Marvel movie stars Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, and Dominique Thorne. It is directed by Ryan Coogler, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole.
The Marvels – February 17, 2023
Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), and Talos’ next journey will be told in The Marvels (Ben Mendelsohn). They won’t be alone, either; the WandaVision finale hinted that Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) would be returning to space to see her mother’s companion. Ms. Marvel will also appear in Captain Marvel 2, where she will meet her hero.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. May 3 23, 2023
The first “TV special” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, if such a thing can be termed that in the age of streaming services. In any case, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will be a 40-minute live-action special set between the events of Thor: Love and Thunder and the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2023.
Returning filmmaker James Gunn is said to have pitched a holiday special for years before finally being able to film this one, so it appears to be a passion project for him.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania July 28, 2023
The upcoming superhero film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is based on the Marvel Comics superheroes of the same name. Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Avengers: Endgame is sequels to this film. We know that Scott and Hope will continue to struggle when time-traveling Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) appears.
This is crucial because Kang is Nathaniel Richards, the father of Fantastic Four patriarch Reed Richards. As a result, we have one possible route for Marvel to introduce the space-traveling Richards/Storm family. It is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s thirty-third film and the tenth in Phase Four of Marvel.
Fantastic Four TBA
The suspected casting notes for Marvel’s Fantastic Four sparked much interest among fans. Nothing has been verified, but given the Richards family’s comic book connection to He Who Remains, we expect them to have their job cut out for them.
Blade TBA
Comic-Con 2019 was a blast thanks to the MCU movie, the Blade. Yes, Wesley Snipes’ renowned daywalker is heading to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, unlike Deadpool 3, this film will be PG-13 (rather than R-rated). Apart from the fact that Stacy Osei-Kuffour (HBO’s Watchmen) has been hired to write the film, little more is known. Because there isn’t an actual release date or a production date, this is mostly wishful thinking about when we’ll see Blade cut and slash his way through the MCU.
Deadpool 3 TBA
Deadpool 3 will most likely take a long time to be released. Kevin Feige, the MCU’s president, has stated that the film will not begin production until 2022, putting a release date in 2023. However, both Bob’s Burgers writers, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Wendy Molyneux have been attached as scribes.
Captain America 4 TBA
Captain America 4 is a working title for a future superhero film based on the same-named Marvel Comics character. After Steve Rogers retires from superhero activity, Sam Wilson takes over as Captain America.
It is expected to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Five. Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson will pen the script. Marvel Studios will produce it, and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures will distribute it.
