With all that free-time in the last 4-minutes of your 30-minute lunch break, you may be thinking NAPTIME. But why nap when you could LEARN? If you’ve yet to check out LinkedIn Learning, now may be a good time to finally take the plunge into the vast, virtual pool of knowledge.
Aram Goganian is the Founder, Lead Designer, and Engineer at Predator Cycling. The company is launching a sweet, new custom carbon fiber bicycle, the RF20, made in good ol’ Nashville, USA. If you were at Autodesk 2018 or 2019, you may remember the bicycle that features a 100% monocoque front triangle and AI-assisted architecture. Now, Aram is bringing his knowledge of the product development behind the bike to you in a new course on LinkedIn Learning, Fusion 360 Modeling Techniques and Workflow.
The course covers basic file organization, setup, and sketching, then move on to modeling, surfacing, and working with components. Additionally, he goes into STEP import and working with T-Splines. Altogether, it includes 2 hours and 17 minutes of techniques and workflows you can use for any product development project.
Even though I’ve used Fusion 360 for a while, there’s a lot of insight I gained into the approach that Aram takes. Best of all, he does it in bite-size segments you can watch in those fleeting few moments of your lunch break. (Pro tip: if you change it to double speed, you can watch it all in the space of an hour. Boom.)
