A few months back, we had a first-look at Cadasio, an online platform to create and share product documentation and assembly instructions. Now, they have announced the official release after two years of development, a closed beta, and an early access phase.

Files may be uploaded to the platform or you can use one of their free plugins. Currently, support is available for SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Solid Edge, Autodesk Fusion 360 and Onshape.

After import, you can create animated step-by-step assembly instructions that you can share online via link, QR code, or with an embed code on your own website.

Cadasio is launching with three pricing options: A free Personal account, a $50 Professional account, and a custom priced Corporate account. If you create a lot of technical illustrations or any type of product documentation you’ll definitely want to check them out at cadasio.com.
